Jaša Tomić village, with 1200 houses in middle Banat county, Serbia, 3235 inhabitants and around 8000 ha of agricultural fields has been destroyed by the river Tamiš. Flood has destroyed over 200 houses. Around 800 houses are sunk by the water of floating river. More than 2000 people has been evacuated and they are situated in villages Krajišnik, Sečanj, Sutjeska and Boka.

Jašinac među najboljima


Borislav Radivoj primio nagradu.
U holu Izvršnog veća Vojvodine otvorena je izložba dečijih likovnih radova na temu "Sestru i brata želim", koju je organizovao Pokrajinski sekretarijat za demografiju, porodicu i društvenu brigu o deci. Izloženo je 250 nagrađenih radova od preko 6000 dospelih, a autori su deca najstarijeg uzrasta predškolskih ustanova Vojvodine.
Nagrađene predškolce, njihove roditelje i vaspitače pozdravio je predsednik Pokrajinske vlade mr Bojan Pajtić, koji je naglasio da je briga o deci naša najvažnija briga.

– U Vojvodini godišnje jedanaest hiljada ljudi više umre nego što se rodi, i ovakav trend ozbiljno ugrožava broj stanovnika u našoj pokrajini. Zbog toga smo pokrenuli niz mera za povećanje nataliteta, a jedna od posebno značajnih je uvođenje naknade za prvo dete – rekao je Pajtić. On je dodao da je izložba «Sestru i brata želim» značajna iz više razloga. S jedne strane važna je za povećenje nataliteta, a sa druge za razvijanje kreativnosti i zdravog takmičarskog duha mališana koji su crtali radove.


Izložbu je otvorila resorni pokrajinski sekretar Novka Mojić koja je naglasila da u u okviru svojih programskih aktivnosti, a u cilju afirmacije pronatalne politike, Pokrajinski sekretarijat za demografiju, porodicu i društvenu brigu o deci već četvrtu godinu realizuje projekat pod nazivom “Sestru i brata želim”. Ona je čestitala nagrađenim mališanima, ali i svoj deci koja su učestvovala na konkursu, istakavši da su svi veoma lepo prikazali porodicu kakvu žele.
Prisutni na otvaranju izložbe mogli su da uživaju u specijalnoj priredbi koju su pripremila deca iz predškolskih ustanova.


Jedan od nagrađenih radova je delo našeg malog sugrađanina, Radivoj Borislava, koji je danas u društvu svoje vaspitačice Milade prisustvovao dodeli nagrada.

Charity party for our village


As we now this year in match we had a visit from Britain, Andy Thiele and Tibor Herhe came to see consequences from last year flood in our village. Before that they raised some money and for that local government bought technical equipment for them and local hospital.
Two month after Andy Thiele was still taking, about how people welcome him in our village of Jasa Tomic, he felt pleased for granted him a plat and show him around. He felt responsible and arrange one more party for our flooded village, which took place in Oxshott village hall surrey United Kingdom. This time support came mostly from local businesses and Esher delivery office.
Andy was very pleased and happy for raising money and he agree donation towards sport equipment for Olympic game in our multiplicity. For at this point we have to ask ourselves who is Andy? Who knows Andy he will said good person well know in his village. He does lot of charity work and support all of them. Proud father of 2 children and 5 foster children always delicate to family life and his wife Jill. I am sure that Andy will visit our village many times more and always be welcome guest.

The real problems shall be when the water dries decontamination of the land in village, fight against big epidemics, and especially taking care of people who stayed without their homes.

Horrible Flood

Jaša Tomić village, with 1200 houses in middle Banat county, Serbia, 3235 inhabitants and around 8000 ha of agricultural fields has been destroyed by the river Tami?. Flood has destroyed over 200 houses. Around 800 houses are sunk by the water of floating river.

More than 2000 people has been evacuated and they are situated in villages Kraji?nik, Se?anj, Sutjeska and Boka. Hospital in the village has also been evacuated, and its patients (around 100 of them) are now in hospital in Zrenjanin.

More than 3000 pigs are drown and about 500 cattle. All agricultural fields are under water, and the houses are still falling down. There is no electricity and gas. Water is not for human use. Suronded by water, this village will be at least two months, as some experts claim.
